pet peeves

Over the last couple of shifts, I've been getting so irritated with how customers are acting.
so yes, here's yet another list of my pet peeves.. starbucks barista edition. (said in the nicest way possible)

pleeeease don't rip up tiny pieces of paper, then throw them on the ground. (especially when i'm the pre-closer) I don't usually mind sweeping and mopping the floors but knowing that someone purposely ripped up a piece of paper into a bajillion other little pieces then throwing them on the floor really annoys me. I have to bend myself backwards trying to get all the little pieces.. it's impossible!

if you take a shit in our washroom, be courteous enough to clean up! again.. since I usually have the pre close shift now.. one of my duties is to clean the washroom...THE TOILET!! I really don't want to clean up after your shit (literally)

if you don't know what drink you want, let the person behind you go first. with the time you take to say "hmmm" "um...." "what should i get hehehe" "oh i never saw that drink before" "im still not sure.." ...................... I COULD HAVE HELPED AT LEAST 2 OTHER CUSTOMERS!!!.. and now there's a long line. c'mon..

if you can, just order the drip. HAHAHA. jk.. that's just me being lazy.

if you spill your coffee.. tell me. I'd rather mop up the spilled coffee while it's still wet than put all my efforts into scrubbing the floor later on because it's already dried up

DONT UNSCREW THE HONEY BOTTLE!!! yes it's all jokes at first..ha ha ha. but it makes me feel really bad for the customers that get punked. they get really frustrated too.. then they take their frustration out on the barista (poor barista... =( )

we don't have iced caps. well we do.. but it's totally different from what you're thinking. starbucks.....tim hortons..... latte's.... donuts..... (see where i'm going with this?) we are not owned by tim hortons nor are we connected to it.. we don't have the iced caps you're looking for. If you ask for an iced cap from us.. you're gona get an iced latte with foam on top.

last but (most definately) not least, do not come into the store drunk!! it freaks me out. big time.. today scared the living daylights outta me. hahhahaha. he was like "what's your name" .... I was so freaked out so I said .. "Jp" hehehehe. :$

ps. this is abbey's barista pet peeve : don't be super cute, smile at me with those diamond eyes, and then move to edmonton..... :( RIP grande americano
