(i haven't been posting actual words because i've been busy/lazy/enjoying the weather)
it's up to you to find beauty in the ugliest days. i really do think the way we feel about ourselves, our surroundings, anything is completely in our power. yes of course, God forbid, when you're out running you don't see it ahead of time but you fall to the ground because of a bike (or whatever) someone left behind. you're on the pavement, knees stinging and palms scratched up but it's up to you whether you decide to stay on the ground cursing at the sky or to get up, dust yourself off, and continue on. we go through so many trials in our lives that some would interpret as a sign to give up but going through trials and seeing that instead, they are life lessons.. that is beautiful.
