one of the most beautiful things i've ever witnessed is catching up with an old friend and realizing that things are still exactly the same between you two. like a movie set on pause for a couple days, months, years even then played opposed to if it were stopped completely where if you wanted to get back to the way it used to be you'd have to start from the beginning. of course, you could skip a couple scenes but it'll never go back to that exact point you left off.
picking up where you left off is beautiful. old friendships brought back from nothing is beautiful. life is beautiful.
i'm too happy right now but i secretly love it. i think i deserve it.
